Care Instructions for Afro/Kinky Curly Synthetic Wigs

• Washing: Wash every 6-8 wears. Fill a basin with cool water and add synthetic wig shampoo. Gently submerge and swish the wig for 2-3 minutes. Do NOT rub, twist, or scrub - this will damage the tight curl pattern.
• Conditioning: Apply synthetic wig conditioner from mid-length to ends, avoiding the cap. Let sit for 2-3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cool water.
• Drying: Gently blot with a towel (never wring or squeeze). Place on a wig stand and air dry completely. Do NOT brush or comb while wet or dry.
• Heat Styling: This is high-temperature fiber but afro textures should NOT be heat styled as it will permanently damage the curl pattern.
• Maintaining Curls: NEVER brush or comb afro/kinky curly wigs. Use only your fingers to gently separate and fluff the curls for volume.
• Detangling: If tangles occur, use your fingers with a synthetic wig detangling spray. Work very gently from ends upward. A pick comb can be used sparingly for volume only.
• Storage: Store on a wig stand in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. The afro texture needs space to maintain its shape.
